Friends Migrate Too

Our good friends Mike and Michelle make an annual migration NORTH to see the changing of the leaves and to get out of the city. I have found myself looking forward to the day when they call and ask if they can stop by on their way to places farther north.

Steve and Julie make an annual late summer trip north too and it is with anticipation that I look forward to seeing these people that I care for. I find comfort knowing that they care for me too. Thank you friends and family for taking the time to stop. You mean so much to me.

Shattered

Shattered. I had it all together and was coping pretty well. Precariously fragile but coping. Then in the blink of an eye it all shattered into a million little razor sharp edges and the only thing there was to hold onto is the razor sharp edge and the sound of your own screams as you are being sliced into little pieces. Shattered. I thought I had it all together and was coping pretty well. Fragile...
