Remembering What Works

Things don't always go smoothly and life has it's ups and downs. We all know about the ebb and flow of our days. Live with depression and that ebb and flow can be dramatically increased. The daily grind becomes the daily ground... If you have lived with depression for awhile you have undoubtedly learned some coping skills. When things take a turn for the worse and you have a bad day or a bad week remember that it won't last forever. And I know that when you are "living in it" that is incredibly difficult. Try to think about the things that have worked for you in the past and implement them. If you journal, go ahead a read the past entries in your journal and you will see what worked for you and you will be inspired by how strong you really are.

What Will You Remember...

What will you remember...
The time you took to sit with a friend when she needed you or how much you didn't get done that day when you sat with her. What will you remember?

The smile on your childs face because you sat down and actually paid attention to her when she said "mama come look" or the email that you thought couldn't wait. What will you remember?

Our life is made of choices that are very simple. What will you remember?
