- Bruce Springsteen CD's
- Scented candles
- Hugs
- Say what you need, your family hasn't mastered mind reading yet. If they don't listen to you, say it again, only a little louder.
- Relax your shoulders. Get them out of your ears for Goodness sakes.
- Shower every day...even if you don't think you need it, trust me, you need it.
- Take a good look at your face, see those frown lines that are getting deeper every day. Smile instead and give yourself a a facial. Take your time.
- If your having a bad day, don't make any huge decisions. Whatever it is can wait a day. You will still have to do it, but you will be 24 hours stronger.
- Don't worry about what you can do nothing about.
- Take control of the things in your life that you can do something about: yourself, your children. Get busy, move your feet, make it happen. You have more control than you think you do.
Over the years as I've searched for ways to heal, emotionally, spiritually and physically I found my healing in sometimes the most curious and profound ways. My hope is that I can share what heals me, with you.

Lovely ideas. I think I'll start with the shower, right after I get my shoulders out of my ears and light the scented candles. Like your bird picks.
